IIBN/TLICN in conversation with Tom Keane, celebrity auctioneer

We are delighted to welcome Tom Keane, antiques expert, TV personality, and celebrity auctioneer as our special guest at a joint IIBN/TLICN event on Tuesday 23 October at The Park Plaza County Hall, SE1 7RY.

Tom opened his first auction business in 1991 following an accident on site, which confined him to a wheelchair for two years. To combat the boredom, he spent his days visiting auctions and local car boot sales. It was to be the start of an illustrious and successful career.

“Chiswick Auctions” soon came to the attention of BBC and ITV’s antique programmes and Tom himself became a regular TV personality acting as the auctioneer for ‘Bargain Hunt’, ‘Flog It’ and ‘Cash in the Attic’.

These days Tom can be found at his flagship auction rooms “The Swan” in Tetsworth where their fine art auctions enjoy a local, national and international following.
