Irish Centre for European Law
Founded by Mary Robinson in 1988, the Centre is a neutral body that seeks to promote knowledge, understanding and the good practice of EU law and European Human Rights law. It is operated on a not-for-profit basis.
Guided by an expert Board, the Centre produces conferences, seminars, courses and publications of quality in specialised fields of European law.
The Centre's Chairman is The Honorable John D.Cooke SC, retired Judge of the Irish High Court and a former Judge of the General Court of the European Union. The current Director is Stephen Brittain BL.
