Essential Kanban: It's a Journey of Discovery

Kanban is a method that helps you see work differently. As a result work flows more efficiently, and value is delivered sooner to customers. But how do we achieve this when our work is not manufacturing or delivering physical items (where kanban systems had their origins), but "knowledge work" - invisible, intangible, highly variable, and specific to the context we work in? How can we make the principles and practices of Kanban work for us and our teams today? That's what this webinar will explore.

Actually all knowledge work is a journey of discovery. Finding the right way to work is a journey for every team - to explore the most effective way to work by understanding and applying the principles of flow, change and customer service. But it's also a journey of "knowledge discovery" for every item we work on. That's why we use a Kanban board - the visual representation that "unhides" the work, and the process the work goes through. Why is this simple representation of a linear flow of work so powerful? That's what we'll discover.

The half-hour webinar introduces you to one of the elements of the Kanban Lens, as well as Kanban's principles and general practices. It will also set you on the road to find out more.

Don't miss it!

Additional Information

This series of webinars is a great introduction to Kanban for those new to it, but also a great resource for those familiar with the method, with its straightforward and short descriptions of Kanban's key ideas. Why not invite your colleagues too, perhaps to kick off an informal discussion of how you can use these ideas at work?
