In this session, Joe Pitt will be talking through the threats facing HPCs, picking up on some real world examples.

Having set the scene he'll work through key controls that need to be in place to reduce the risk of successful attacks.

Finally there will be an opportunity for a discussion of the topics covered.

Speaker Biography: Joe Pitt is a Senior Security Analyst in Jisc’s Cyber Threat Intelligence Team, responsible for collecting, analysing and using threat intelligence to protect JISC members and the Janet network, and to support our members to respond effectively to attacks.

Joe has eight years Cyber Security experience, covering design, oversight, incident response and threat intelligence.
