How to work with triggers (yours and others)
Being ‘triggered’ has become a commonly used phrase — denoting a strong reaction that someone experiences as a result of an event, action or set of words.
But what does it actually mean? And how do you deal with situations where you, or someone else has been triggered?
In this two-hour online conversation, we'll cover:
- The roots of our triggers: why it happens at all
- How being triggered affects our ability to respond
- What to do when we're in a triggered state
- How to respond well when we know we've triggered others
We'll look at the principles and physiology of triggered states, and discuss practical approaches to getting better at managing big emotions.

How the money works
This is offered on a pay what you can basis to make it affordable to anyone - the suggested fee is £30, and the minimum fee is £5.
Please take a moment to think about how much you're willing and able to contribute to get a bit better at managing the big and difficult emotions you encounter in your life.
If you're able to contribute a bit more than the suggested fee, you make it possible for me to offer more of these conversations for people who are less able to pay.
