The Hike - Box Hill
We have been having such fun on our hikes 🥾
Walking is a great way to exercise and combine that with time in the natural environment and your physical and mental health are set for a boost.
Let’s escape the city life and boost our wellbeing. Being near nature is proven to reduce stress and improve wellbeing and even helps you sleep better.
On this walk we are going to take the longest of the Box Hill Hikes. The walk is an eight mile circular walk, with steep climbs, descents into deep valleys and many steps. It covers much of the Box Hill estate and passes some wonderful viewpoints. The route will take around 4-5 hours so please bring plenty of snacks, lunch and water.
This is a challenging route so you will need to have a level of fitness and mobility to complete this hike, and you are required to have sufficient clothing and equipment. To ensure the safety of all participants, please note that you may be unable to hike with us if your clothing/ equipment isn’t adequate.
The meeting point is Box Hill Shepherds Hut, KT20 7LB.
