Hess Collection Winemaker Dinner at Harbor House

Experience the power and elegance of Napa wines when you join us for an exclusive evening with Hess Collection Director of Winemaking, Dave Guffy, on Thursday, February 16.

The Hess Collection was founded by Swiss entrepreneur Donald Hess, who purchased vineyards on the volcanic slopes of Napa’s Mount Veeder in 1978. The winery is best known for its flagship Mount Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay wines and recently celebrated their 30th vintage.

Hess Collection Director of Winemaking, Dave Guffy, will be on hand for this event to describe the intricacies of making wines from fruit grown on mountains as well as on the valley floor. While he finds the agricultural elements of winemaking fascinating, his goal is “to make ripe, fruit-forward California style wines with both power and elegance.”

Executive Chef Andrew Fisher will create a sumptuous four-course meal designed to match these bold wines.
