  • The most fun. We promise to do our best to make this the best, most fun competition around.

What does redpoint format mean?

  • Redpoint format simply means that we will have set 40-50 brand new bouldering routes that competitors will not have seen of climbed on previously. You will have 3 hours to climb as many of these routes as possible, and we will tally the scores for the top 5 problems you complete. Judges will be on the floor to sign your scorecard when you successfully climb a problem. Bonuses are awarded for flashing problems (completing on your first try)

Where is the event?

  • The event will take place at The Mountain Goat indoor climbing gym in Greenville, SC. Directions and information are available at http://mountaingo.at

Do I have to be in USA Climbing to compete?

  • Absolutely not. Prizes and cash will be awarded to the winners among everyone competing. Some competitors will be trying to qualify for regionals but this will not affect other climbers at all.

What does ABS mean?

  • ABS stands for American Bouldering Series and is a sanctioned competition series through USA Climbing where climbers compete in at least 2 local competitions to qualify for regional competitions. More information is available at http://usaclimbing.com

What is included with my registration?

  • Each registration allows you to participate in the competition, as well as climb in our facility after the competition for the rest of the day. There will also be giveaways from sponsors, and free t-shirts for anyone who pre-registers.

What does La Cabra Montès mean?
