GLOBAL DIVERSITY CFP DAY BERLIN
On Saturday 2nd March 2019 we will host the second edition of Global Diversity CFP Day in Berlin following the success of the CFP DAY 2018 event where 53 workshops took place worldwide!
In 2019 there will be numerous workshops hosted around the globe encouraging and advising newbie speakers to put together your very first talk proposal and share your own individual perspective on any subject of interest to people.
Each workshop will have experienced speakers on hand to:
give you a warm, inclusive welcome in a safe space (check out our Code of Conduct which all participants must adhere to)
mentor you with your proposal provide speaking advice and share their enthusiasm to get you to the stage!

Code of Conduct
Here at CFP Day Berlin, we are dedicated to providing a harassment-free workshop experience for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion (or lack thereof). We do not tolerate harassment of workshop participants in any form. We ask that all attendees are mindful of their surroundings and of their fellow participants.
All attendees, speakers, sponsors, and volunteers at CFP DAY BERLIN are required to agree with the following code of conduct. Organizers will enforce this code throughout the event. We are expecting cooperation from all participants to help to ensure a safe environment for everybody.

What can I expect?
The event will be packed with materials, group exercises and videos to help you to write your first CFP. Doors are open at 9:30AM and the program goes from 10AM (arrival) to roughly 4PM.
During the event, there will be snacks and other beverages like coffee, tea and other. Please note this is a non-alcoholic event.
You'll receive more information a few weeks before the event.
What about lunch?
During lunchtime, we will serve food and you will have enough time to get to know the mentors and other mentees.
