The Elgin based quartet 'The Roov' mix disco, soul and rock and roll to pump out groovy beats and sensational melodies that will instantly take you back to the famous nights at Studio 54.

It's been a busy year for The Roov with the release of 2 singles 'Alive', 'You Wanna Be Like Me' and a promise of one more before the year is out. The Roov are known to bring an uncontrollable energy to their performances and have smashed gigs across Scotland this past year with shows supporting The View, The Pigeon Detectives and headline shows at the world famous King Tuts Wah Wah Hut as well as packing out venues all over Moray. The band made their festival debut at the ever growing Belladrum festival where they filled the tent despite being the opening act of the day and were on at 11.30am. Their latest single 'You wanna be like me' made single of the week on BBC Radio Scotland and BBC Radio Gaelic upon its release and also got great reviews from the likes of Jim Gellatly (The Scottish Sun and amazing radio) and Discovery Music.
