Ruvellas supporting BOOTlace

Ruvellas are an up and coming 5-piece band of 16/17 year olds who originate from Dundee. They incorporate an experimental style taking influence from genres such as Indie and Alt Rock and popular acts such as Oasis, Arctic Monkeys, The Beatles, Catfish and the Bottlemen.

​The band were formed in 2014 and were originally called Room-One. Each member noticed they had a shared taste in music and also their aptitude for taking to different instruments as a hobby.

​2017 saw Ruvellas hone their live craft with shows at The Shore, Church Dundee and the Gardyne Theatre in the Youth Music Initiative. 2018 Started with a bang with sold out support slots with The Snuts in Church, Dundee and Saint-Louie in Beat Generator and their first headline show in The Green Room in Perth. Festival dates have been confirmed and debut single 'Sick and Tired' is in post production and the accompanying music video is in pre-production. Big things are on the horizon.

​Ruvellas’ goal is to revitalise the music scene and help others enjoy some familiar-sounding songs whilst keeping an original and passionate style.
