Wild Wood Takeover 18th/19th April 2026

There are a maximum of 10 places per preferred time slot. If any volunteer is also participating on the course, they must be included in your numbers and have a paid ticket.

A waiver form here must be completed for all participants. If Under 18, parents must complete the form and send a copy to the unit leader.

Please note that there must be 1 supervising adult on the ground for each preferred time slot and course that you book.

Please also note that all times listed will be your preferred time slot as we may have to adjust if demand is not so great at certain periods over the weekend. If you are booking a small number e.g. 4 tickets, then please note that you may be sharing your timeslot with another small group.

Your preferred time slot is your arrival time. Please arrive on time for your check-in, safety briefing and harnessing. Your overall time at Wild Wood is approximately 90 minutes. E.g. if you have a preferred time slot of 11am, then you can expect to finish at approximately 12.30pm.

Which course should I book?

Wild Kids: Open to everyone aged 7+ and over 1m in height. Particularly suited to Brownies (or Guides less than 1.4m in height so unable to access Extreme Wild) or anyone a little nervous about heights.

Extreme Wild: Open to everybody aged 10+ and over 1.4m height. Particularly suited to Guides, Rangers, Young Leaders and volunteers.

Due to high demand places must be paid for at time of booking and they are not refundable. Please only purchase places that you know you will fill to make the event fair for all units. Thank you.
