Pirates of Paxmead - Sunday 27 Sept - Guides and Rangers

This event is open to Guide & Ranger units and Young Leaders - maximum of 16 per unit accompanied by a minimum of one leader, preferably two. 

Your unit will be mixed with other units to get to groups of 20 girls for the water activities

COST: £28 per Guide/Ranger/YL

DATE: Sunday 27th September

TIME: Approx. 9:00 - 4:30pm. There are staggered arrival/departure times, you will be allocated times once bookings close.

VENUE: Paxmead Riverside Base, Dockett Eddy Lane, Shepperton, TW17 9NT.

DRESS: Arrive in wet water wear (see kit list which will be issued with further information after the closing date)

Hot drinks for adults will be freely available all day - bring a cup  Hot chocolate will be available for participants at lunch time - bring a cup Everyone will need to bring a packed lunch and snacks

The event is a full day of 4 different water sports and a campfire. We recommend participants have several changes of clothes including a dry set to go home in. This is to ensure everyone remains comfortable if they get wet.

ACTIVITIES: The day will be spilt into 5 sessions Kayaking (possibly wet) Giant Paddleboarding (likely wet) Power boating (dry) Raft building (likely wet) Campfire (dry)

Places are limited so will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. 

CLOSING DATE: Friday 19th June 2026****(please note the event may sell out before that) You can pay by BACS if you select invoice at checkout, deadline for final payment is 3rd July 2026.
