GeoBeer #48

On Thursday, April 3 2025, starting at 18:00, we will meet for GeoBeer #48 in Yverdon (Route de Cheseaux 1, 1401 Yverdon-les-Bains). Many thanks to the team of HEIG-VD and the SIT Ville d'Yverdon and Jens Ingensand and Olivier Monod, respectively, for hosting us this time!

Location

GeoBeer will take place on the HEIG-VD campus on Route de Cheseaux 1. Bus 601 takes you there directly from the station in 5 to 7 minutes.

Program

We start the evening at 18:00. The outline of the program is as follows:

  • Intro by the GeoBeer Team (2 mins)
  • Welcome Note (2 mins) by the hosts
  • Lightning talk 1: Web meets desktop: Serving OGC API Features with integrated business logic (Denis Rouzaud, OPENGIS.ch)
  • Lightning talk 2: Multimodal 3D semantic segmentation: Combining LiDAR and images*(Antoine Carreaud, HEIG-VD / EPFL)*
  • Lightning talk 3: Une API pour interroger et recouper les données RegBL/GWR (Emilie Boillat, Liip)
  • Lightning talk 4: Entraîner nos skieurs à l’aide de la réalité virtuelle Sébastien Guillaume, HEIG-VD
  • Apéro Riche
