On November 21st, 2018, starting 18:00, GeoBeer #24 will be hosted in Bern by swisstopo/geo.admin.ch. We look forward to an exciting evening in Switzerland's capital city*! (* well, not actually, but you know)

Program: From 18:00

  • Intro by the GeoBeer Team (2 mins)
  • Welcome Note from the hosts (2 mins)
  • Lightning Talk by Peter Schär of Amt für Geoinformation, Kanton Bern: Geoportal Bern: Ergebnisse der Nutzendenumfrage (5 mins)
  • Lightning Talk by Christian Trachsel of SBB: Datafusion von Geo- und Meteodaten bei der SBB (5 mins)
  • Lightning Talk by Uli Müller of geOps: Vektor Kacheln online editieren: leicht gemacht (5 mins)
  • Apéro Riche

Location

Swisstopo, Seftigenstrasse 264, Wabern

Mind you, the event is in Wabern. (Wa)bern is, as the name suggests, not quite the same as Bern, but very close. You best travel there using public transport (tram from Bern mainstation). If you choose to ignore this advice and come by car: please park outside of the swisstopo premises in the blue zone or in Gurten Parking. But again: best use the formidable public transport.

Registration and future events

In order not to miss the registration window or future events, we recommend you subscribe to the GeoBeer newsletter. By doing so you agree that we use your submitted personal data for mailing newsletters (and nothing else).
