Global Diversity CFP (Call for Proposals) Day is a free workshop event, which is targeted at supporting people from underrepresented or marginalised groups within the technology sector and encouraging them to putting together their first conference speaking proposal.

The Edinburgh workshop will have experienced speakers on hand to:
- give you a warm, inclusive welcome in a safe space (check out our Code of Conduct which all participants must adhere to)
- mentor you with your proposal
- provide speaking advice
- and share their enthusiasm to get you to the stage!
Please arrive from 9:45am for a 10:00am start. Feel free to bring your own laptop or notebook as you will be working on your talk proposal throughout the day. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. Please advise us of any dietary requirements when you sign up. The workshop should finish between 3pm and 4pm.
