React Native Expo Router Workshop

Expo Router brings file-based routing to React Native, which allows you to structure your app navigation through files quickly and use the same components on multiple platforms (Android, iOS, and web).

In this React Native Expo Router Workshop, you'll learn how to use Expo Router to take advantage of powerful features like typed routes, deep links, and unified routing across different platforms.

What will you practice?

In this full-day (5 hours) workshop we will focus on the following topics:

• Navigation Layouts: Understand how popular layouts like Stack, Tab, or Drawer navigation work with file-based routing
• Routing Concepts: Learn to pass data through URLs, change the visual appearance of the navigator, and work with Expo Router hooks
• Universal Apps: Create custom pages for different platforms and use CSS and SEO information alongside your native app
• Router Super Powers: Utilize splash screen loading time or open pages inside your app through deep links
• Authentication Patterns: Build an app with JWT authentication and secure pages in a case study to apply your knowledge
