FOSS4G SotM Oceania 2021 - Auckland Hub
Friday November 8th update:
We have made the decision to postpone the Auckland Hub FOSS4G SotM event until March 2022
An in person event was always our preference and we are looking to March to host an event. Enjoy your summer and we look forward to seeing you next year!
We are excited to present the 2021 FOSS4G SotM Conference Auckland Hub.
With COVID-19 still restricting travel, this years FOSS4G-SotM conference is again a combined online & physical event. Hubs held around the region will host a mix of shared online content and local presentations. There will be opportunities to meet local OSGeo community attendees and hear from a range of speakers.
This years event will be hosted by GridAKL, in Auckland's Wynyard Quarter. Morning tea and lunch will be provided on site.
In the event of COVID-19 related restrictions the conference will move online with full refunds.
Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased below.

About FOSS4G SotM Oceania
FOSS4G stands for “Free and Open Source Software for Geospatial Information Systems”. This is a conference series under the umbrella of the Open Source Geospatial Foundation intended to foster the development and use of open source software in the geospatial industry.
SotM stands for “State of the Map”, the conference held by the OpenStreetMap Foundation, which supports the development of a free and open editable world map.
In the Oceania region these are held together by the OSGeo Oceania chapter as the “FOSS4G SotM” Conference. The conference in Melbourne in 2018 was a considerable success, followed up by Wellington in 2019. This event attracted over 200 attendees from throughout the region.
This year the FOSS4G SotM Oceania Conference follows the same format as last year, a hybrid online/in-person event with hubs organised across the Oceania region.
For more information, see the FOSS4G SotM Conference website.
