Back in 2016, the organizers of several Big Data Groups across Wisconsin all had the same thought: It’s high time for an event we can call our own to help nurture and grow the state of Big Data use and expertise right here in Wisconsin. A few vendors joined in to help with the task and the result was the inaugural BigDataWisconsin Conference. It was such a success that we all returned to organize the second conference, building on the continued evolution of big data and data science expertise across the state. Please join us for a full day of great content, mingle with fellow attendees, and visit with sponsors to hear the latest and greatest in the data field.

The new Forward Summit brings together several new and returning Forward Fest events. Over 400 people at six+ events by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs, all in UW's beautiful Memorial Union, all on one day.
Your ticket gains you access to the Forward Tech Conference, 2017 BigData Wisconsin, Social Impact Data, Healthcare Innovation, Meetups Track and more. Also included is lunch and breaks. In the evening, the Summit offers the Forward Festival Startup Showcase, where select local startups pitch their ventures from the Union Theater stage, with a terrace reception to follow.
