The best JS conference in the Pacific Northwest!

The Jupiter Hotel will be the home to CascadiaJS 2014 and is the perfect setting for our time in Portland. The property has everything you might want and need to do all within walking distance. Whether you fancy a microbrew at a fire pit after food cart noshing, private karaoke with a Node.js API, or view our 8 bridges along the water - there is something for everyone.

Ticket purchasing

Your ticket provides you access to all of the social events, all of the presentations, any of the breakout spaces you would like to frequent, and any of the other surprises we'll be providing on-site. The ticket price also covers at breakfast, lunch, and breaks over the 2 days of CascadiaJS. If you need any assistance/encouragement to help solidify arrangements with your employer OR you require extra assistance, please don't hesitate to contact us directly.

Our location and lodging

By taking over the entire property, we get a unique opportunity both indoors and out to build an awesome couple of days of interacting with your JavaScript community.

We have approximately 50 rooms for attendees to reserve on-site. This is a unique opportunity for you to shake off the bedhead, grab a cup of coffee from our breakfast station, and get first dibs at a good seat for talks to begin.

To arrange on-site lodging, please look at the the hotel add-on tickets, as long as are available. This ticket purchase covers:

Your stay July 30th, 4pm to August 2, 11am for checkout. 'Jupiter Hotel single add-on' is a private room single queen-size bed. 'Jupiter Hotel double beds add-on' is a private room with two queen-size beds.

We've arranged for our alternative lodging block at the Hotel Rose, and you can go HERE to arrange your stay. There's at least one bus line that's fast and consistent to get you quickly over to the venue that is 1.2 miles away. We love our public transit here.

We suggest booking for July 30th check-in and an August 2nd check-out in order to take full advantage of the fun schedule we're working on.

Workshop

Our friends at Formidable Labs will be running an all-day full stack JS workshop the day before the conference. Tickets are available as a bundle (conference + workshop) or standalone.
