Flammkuchenhof - All you can eat

Bonjour to all the foodies around! Come and try a regional specialty at Flammkuchenhof Wieblingen! As it's "all you can eat", there'll always be several plates of Flammkuchen on each table, so you can share and try a looooot of different varieties. The selection is amazing! We reserved 20 spots! So first come, first served!

But what is this “Flammkuchen” (Alemannic Flammekueche or Flammwaie; Alsatian Flammekueche; Lorraine Flammkuche; French tarte flambée) On the first sight you might think of an even flatter Pizza. There might even be a connection between them since the first pizza from Naples (1889 / the style of pizza we know and love) and the first notice of the Alsatian Flammkuchen (1884) appeared almost at the same time. But maybe it is just a coincidence, who knows? Anyways, instead of basil, mozzarella and tomato the traditional receipt demands onion, bacon and sour cream. But as with the pizza also the selections of toppings for the Flammkuchen can be really creative (there are even sweet versions!)

MEETING POINT: October 12th at 7pm at the Flammkuchenhof in Wieblingen (Pariser Weg 1, 69123 Heidelberg, Bus line 34 goes to the nearby bus stop "Sandwingert”).

PRICE : only 15.50€ for students for an entire evening of all you can eat Flammkuchen (don't forget your student ID!). Drinks are not included! So make sure to bring CASH since card payment is not accepted.
