Effective Altruism Global X is the locally organized international conference series of the Effective Altruism community. EAGxBoston 2019 is open to everyone and will be 2 days in length. Content is primarily aimed at people who are familiar with the core ideas of effective altruism, but who want to engage more deeply with the concepts and get more involved with the community.
The conference will run from 9am-6pm on Saturday, April 27; and from 9am-3pm on Sunday, April 28.
EAGx conferences are open to people of all levels of engagement with Effective Altruism. We think the following kinds of attendees are particularly likely to find the conference valuable:
During the ticketing process, you will be asked to answer several registration questions. These are to help us make the conference a positive experience for attendees and to evaluate our impact.
Tickets will switch from early-bird to regular pricing on March 29th.
Please note that only a limited number of tickets are available due to venue capacity constraints.
Breakfast, lunch, snacks, and beverages will be provided both Saturday and Sunday. Meal costs are included in the ticket price. All food served will be vegan, with gluten-free options available.
The best way to get to the conference venue is via the T (Boston’s subway system). The venue is a 10-minute walk from the Harvard Square station on the Red Line. Parking is available in the 52 Oxford St parking garage, but day permits must be purchased online and printed out in advance. See here for more details.
