EU|BIC Essentials Training Track 2024
The 2024 EU|BIC Essentials Training will highlight the pivotal role EU|BICs play in the digital innovation ecosystems.
Over five modules participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of all segments of the innovation incubation chain and explore the latest trends in ecosystem building\, entrepreneurship\, and innovation support. This year's training will have a specific focus on European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIHs) and the role EU|BICs play in the digital transformation processes of their ecosystems.
Training Content and Schedule
The training will be delivered online over five sessions of 2 hours each, from 30 September to 4 October 2024, comprising four training modules and a final debriefing session.
The 2024 EU|BIC Essentials training aims at offering EU|BICs and other Business Support Organisations the opportunity to embark on a learning journey covering the following modules and topics:
Module 1
- Digital Innovation & Digital Transformation: setting the framework.
- EDIHs and the international dimension of digital innovation incubation services
Module 2: The EU|BIC Digital Innovation Strategy: Ecosystems, Business Models and Governance
- The EU|BIC digital innovation strategy: ecosystems\, business models and governance
- EU|BICs supporting digital innovation & digital transformation: expertise (HR)\, and infrastructures
Module 3
- Incubation services for digital innovation > digital native startups’ support vs “analogue” SMEs
Module 4
- EU|BIC Deep Dive #2: Incubation Services for Deep Tech Venture
Module 5
- The debriefing module allows participants to go back to the topic they were interested in the most for further exchanges with experts and peers.
Training certificate
Participants will earn a learning certificate, issued by EBN, the leading pan-European community working on innovation-stimulating solutions, for excellent business support actors (incubators, accelerators, science centres, universities, clusters, and development agencies).
