Join stand-up comedian Emma Doran in conversation with her podcast co-host and Irish comedy legend Deirdre O’Kane at The Sugar Club on 15 September at 7pm to celebrate the launch of Emma’s memoir 'Mad, Isn’t It?'.

Emma and Deirdre will discuss the glamour of getting pregnant in a caravan in Wexford, doing the Leaving Cert in a maternity school uniform, getting a second chance at ‘stage life’ at the age of 29 and all the highs and lows in between.

'Mad, Isn’t It?' is hilariously funny but also moving and celebratory, so get ready for a joyful evening going down memory lane.

Tickets are €26.99 and include a copy of 'Mad, Isn't It?'. The event will be followed by a Q&A and book signing.

EVENT TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • Your ticket entitles you to entry to Eason Presents:Emma Doran Book Launch on 15th September in the Sugar Club at 7pm.

  • You will be required to show your ticket on the day of the event, to gain entry, and as proof of purchase. 

  • Ticket holders will receive their copy of the book at the event. 

  • Those without tickets will be turned away. 

  • Max of four tickets per order.

  • Doors to this event open at 6:30pm. Anyone arriving to the venue earlier than this will be asked to return at the time mentioned. 

  • Latecomers may be refused admission. 

  • Tickets shall not be purchased or obtained from or through any person, commercial agent, company or otherwise than directly by the applicant from Eason. 

  • Any tickets advertised for resale will be void. 

  • Management have the right to refuse entry or remove anyone who does not comply with these rules or who fails to follow reasonable instructions on the day. 

  • Tickets are only valid for the date and location stated on the ticket. 

  • Unfortunately, due to the unique nature of this event we cannot reserve or have copies signed for those unable to attend on the day. 

  • Due to the nature of the event, the end time will be determined by the promoters on the day. We anticipate a maximum event duration of two hours.

  • Please note the event may be filmed, as an attendee you consent to footage of you being used for promotional purposes. 

  • Anyone under the age of 14 years must be accompanied by an adult. All attendees must have a ticket.

  • We cannot replace any lost tickets.

  • Must produce your ticket to gain entry to the event.

  • Eason reserve the right to amend or cancel this event without notice.
