We are delighted to welcome Dr. Norah Patten, as she is set to make history as the first Irish person to go to space, to Eason, O’Connell St. Dublin where she will be in conversation with her spaceflight crewmate Dr. Shawna Pandya.
Norah and Shawna will be in-store to celebrate this year’s
Christmas card in aid of the Norah Patten Foundation, which has just gone on
sale. Following a short in conversation event, you will have the chance to meet both astronauts and have your Christmas card signed on the day.
All are welcome but preference in queue will be given to those who pre-purchase tickets.
Tickets are available at just €3 and include one Christmas card.
There will be plenty of stock available to purchase on the day.

EVENT TERMS & CONDITIONS
- Your ticket entitles you to entry to Eason Presents: Dr Norah Patten & Dr Shawna Pandya. The event will commence at 12:00pm in Eason Eason O'Connell Street on Saturday, November 23rd
- Tickets are €3 and are available to purchase on www.easons.com.
- Those without tickets will be looked at on a first come first served basis.
- A photo opportunity will be available with Drs Norah and Shawna, in front of the signing table, so please feel free to bring your cameras!
- Please note only ONE photo per family/group permitted due to timing restrictions.
- Due to the anticipated high turn-out, please come prepared to queue – we will aim to keep you updated on your waiting time.
- Max of four tickets per order.
- Latecomers may be refused admission.
- Should you not receive your email confirmation please contact marketing@easons.com.
- Tickets shall not be purchased or obtained from or through any person, commercial agent, company or otherwise than directly by the applicant from Eason.
- Any tickets advertised for resale will be void.
- Management have the right to refuse entry or remove anyone who does not comply with these rules or who fails to follow reasonable instructions on the day.
- Tickets are only valid for the date and location stated on the ticket.
- Unfortunately due to the unique element of this event we cannot reserve or have copies signed for those unable to attend on the day.
- Due to the nature of the event, the end time will be determined by the promoters on the day. We anticipate a maximum event duration of two hours.
- Please note the event may be filmed, as an attendee you consent to footage of you being used for promotional purposes.
- Anyone arriving to the venue earlier than 11:30am will be asked to return at the time mentioned.
- Anyone under the age of 14 years must be accompanied by an adult. All attendees must have a ticket.
- We cannot replace any lost tickets.
- Must produce your ticket to gain entry to the event.
- Eason reserve the right to amend or cancel this event without notice.
- Ticket holders will receive their copy of the book at the event.
