There are two types of tickets - book included for €14.99 or for those who already have a book and just wish to attend, there are free tickets available. Eason will also be selling copies on the night. 

The Lighthouse Secret is a sweeping, secretive and emotional new historical novel. The story is set in the beautiful coastal village of Ballycotton, with mysteries in the past and present will keep readers guessing to the last page.

Carmel Harrington is an internationally bestselling author from Wexford, where she lives with her husband, children, and rescue dog, George Bailey. Her debut was a multi-award-winning novel, and several books have been shortlisted for an Irish Book Award. She is a regular on Irish TV screens and radio, and has been a guest speaker at literary events in Ireland, UK and USA. She was also Chair of Wexford Literary Festival for three years. A storyteller with heart & emotion, Carmel's trademark is to write domestic dramas about the dark and light sides of life, with relatable characters and twisting plots. Her latest novel The Lighthouse Secret is out in March 2024. 

Your event host, Catherine Ryan Howard is the award-winning, no.1 bestselling author of seven thrillers including The Nothing Man, 56 Days and The Trap. Her work has been shortlisted for the Crime Writers Association (UK) New Blood and Ian Fleming Daggers, the Mystery Writers of America Edgar Award for Best Novel, and Irish Crime Fiction Book of the Year multiple times. The event will commence at 6pm, in The Cork City Library on Tuesday April 9th 2024• Tickets are available to purchase on www.easons.com .•Tickets are €14.99 and include a copy of 'The Lighthouse Secret' and free for those who do not need a copy.• Those without tickets will be turned away. •You will need one ticket per person. •Max of four tickets per order. • Latecomers may be refused admission. • Should you not receive your email confirmation please contact marketing@easons.com. • Tickets shall not be purchased or obtained from or through any person, commercial agent, company or otherwise than directly by the applicant from Eason. • Any tickets advertised for resale will be void. • Management have the right to refuse entry or remove anyone who does not comply with these rules or who fails to follow reasonable instructions on the day. • Tickets are only valid for the date and location stated on the ticket. • Unfortunately due to the unique element of this event we cannot reserve or have copies signed for those unable to attend on the day. • Due to the nature of the event, the end time will be determined by the promoters on the day.
