COURSE ABSTRACT

Interested in learning about lambdas, streams and collectors in depth?

These powerful Java features allow you to implement complex operations clearly and concisely. This one-day course introduces the ideas of lambdas and streams, and then takes you from the basics to advanced use cases.

All you need is Maven and an IDE, and you can get to work on a set of exercises that will range from basic use of lambdas to the most advanced patterns in parallel reduction and grouping with Collectors. The only prerequisite is knowledge of basic Java syntax.
