19:00 - Infinite Streams, Hot Fluxes, Live Queries, and Tailable Cursor

In Brian's talk Infinite Streams, Hot Fluxes, Live Queries, and Tailable Cursor, learn how to use Spring frameworks to stream data direct from the tables of relational and non-relational databases and combining it with third party web services. You will see how reactive streams tie together Spring WebFlux, Spring R2DBC and React/JS. He will show you a sample project that demonstrates using NoSQL (Cassandra, Redis, Mongo & Couchbase) or RDBMS (Postgres, H2, MSSQL) as backed repositories.

We will leverage Spring WebFlux, Spring Data, RD2DBC, and ReactJS to create a multi-user/multi-lingual chat application

20:30 - Look, no HTTP!

Learn about the RSocket protocol and how it can be use as an alternative to HTTP for communication between micro-services or for streaming.
