Welcome to the DrupalNYC monthly meetup!

This meetup is in-person!

All are welcome to attend unless you have recently had Covid symptoms, in which case we hope to see you next time.

We're yearning to see you in the flesh once again. Join us after work for an informal outdoor meetup "walk and talk".

We'll meet in at Teardrop Park's Ice Wall in Lower Manhattan, walk leisurely down the Hudson River then back up the East River. Folks may choose to conclude somewhere that serves food and drinks.

Our route is wheelchair accessible.

Feel free to bring the family! Dogs are welcome, but are not allowed in Teardrop Park so if you're bringing a furry friend plan to catch us at the western exit of the park.

All times EDT.

• 6:00 pm - Meet at Teardrop Park's Ice Wall, explore this little known gem of a park while we wait for others to arrive.
• 6:30 pm - Start walking
• 7:30 pm (approximately) - Walking concludes, probably near Industry Kitchen
• Feel free to find a local bar or restaurant -- there are outdoor seating options available

Where to meet

The Ice Wall in Teardrop Park in Battery Park City. Scroll up for photo of the Ice Wall. It's right in the center of the park and there are benches across the path from it. You can't miss it!

Need a bathroom? There's a public bathroom (Google Map) due west of the park, but it closes at 6pm so be sure to arrive early.

Our meeting spot is within a ten minute walk of the 1, 2, 3, A, C, and E subway lines, the PATH at World Trade Center, and the Brookfield Place ferry terminal.

Rain date

If the weather is uncooperative, we'll hope to reschedule for the same time one week later (August 11). Any postponement will be announced by email and in DrupalNYC Slack at least 18 hours prior to the event.
