Allison Kopf, Founder & CEO, Agrilyst
In 2015, Allison Kopf founded Agrilyst, a web-based software platform that uses data science to help indoor farmers manage their crops, referred to as the “Google Analytics for greenhouses”. Agrilyst's technology analyzes everything from temperature to light to CO2, makes it easier to understand expected yield, number of units and revenue, bringing more stability into their operations and subsequently improve their profitability. Prior to founding Agrilyst, Allison helped BrightFarms become one of the leading indoor agriculture companies in the U.S. Trained as a physicist, she approaches problems with critical thought and for those who hate inefficiencies, she says that the thing that gets her out of bed every day is the opportunity to fix inefficiencies.
