David Hunt, Founder of Cainthus
David, a corporate banker turned serial founder, along with his brother Ross co-founded Cainthus, a machine vision & AI focused company dedicated to digitizing agriculture. Hunt is on the Exponential Advisory Board of Singularity University, in Silicon Valley, and is the lead Ag Faculty member.
With a rich family history in agriculture, David turned his knowledge of economics and exponential technology towards his family's granary business, doubling revenue from $105M to $200M++ through technology - without any extra hires. Taking this experience, David co-founded Cainthus with his brother, using Google Cloud, Machine Vision & AI, to disrupt the least digitized industry - agriculture.
About Cainthus
Since its founding two short years ago, Cainthus has been through several finance rounds and has partnered with the largest agriculture companies in the world, Cargill. Cainthus is now commercializing its computer vision based dairy and crop products, working to solve the problem of feeding a population of 10B+ people by 2050.
Using digital imaging software & AI to interpret that data, Cainthus allows farmers to make informed decisions by turning visual information into actionable data. By providing data-driven solutions they aim to reduce inefficiencies in food production and facilitate the more effective, environmentally sustainable, use of land.
