Steve Collins, Venture Partner at Frontline VC

CTO, CEO, and now Venture Partner at Frontline Ventures, Steve Collins is one of Ireland’s most successful serial entrepreneurs with nearly two decades of tech strategy and product development experience. Currently, Steve is focused on investing in seed stage deep-tech software companies with a particular interest in AI and Machine Learning. Also an academic, Steve holds a PhD in computer graphics and has been a senior lecturer, research group leader and principal investigator in Trinity College Dublin and a visiting professor at Goldsmiths University of London.

In 1998, Steve co-founded and worked as CTO for Havok, a leading physics and animation middleware company for console game development, acquired by Intel for $110m in 2007. Afterwards, Steve co-founded Kore VM, a script execution engine for game consoles and most recently Swrve (total funding amount €65.8M), a mobile marketing automation platform used by some of the world’s leading brands including Disney, Conde Nast and Ryanair.
