David Moloney, Director Machine Vision Technology at Intel, previously Founder of Movidius

David Moloney founded Movidius in 2005 along with Sean Mitchell to develop revolutionary microchips, starting with game physics, and ending up developing computer vision chips it's selling today.

Before that, David was doing his PhD research in Trinity College Dublin in High Performance Computing, and before that he has worked for over 20 years in the semiconductor industry since qualifying with a BEng from DCU in 1985.

David is inventor/co-inventor of 17 issued US patents, with additional patents pending and is the author of 10 conference and 8 journal papers.
