Cancer Screening and Prevention: From research and scientific evidence to game changing innovation in the clinical practice | Open Day

This Open Day aims at presenting the work developed and results achieved within six RIA projects funded under the HORIZON-MISS-2021-CANCER-02 call of the EU, spanning across different areas of cancer research focusing on Prevention and Early Detection.

The projects - DIOPTRA, SANGUINE, LUCIA, MammoScreen, ONCOSCREEN and PANCAID - were brought together in the framework of the Prevention and Early Detection (including Screening) Cluster that was launched by EU/HaDEA, and collaborated throughout the individual implementations.

As all cluster projects are close to completion, this Open Day aims to elucidate their key findings, experiences, and impact, setting the stage for discussion on innovative achievements, future perspectives, and challenges towards the transformation of scientific evidence into healthcare innovation in everyday clinical practice in oncology.

This Open Day presents an opportunity for EU stakeholders in the cancer field to engage with the collective achievements and innovations of the Cancer Mission Cluster, discuss scientific, clinical, and policy impact, and contribute to shaping the future of cancer research and clinical practice across Europe and beyond.
