Map Your Pendinas Memories!

We have organised a session to map your memories of Pendinas with local Ecologist Chloe Griffiths on Saturday 10th February 2024, at the Hub in Penparcau.

Chloe will lead two sessions to create your own map of Pendinas while looking at old maps of the area that showcase what is significant to us. We will study the painting of Pendinas by artist Maria Hayes that is on display at the Hub and consider how she uses oral history, wildlife records and artefacts to further enhance her art. It will be opportunity to share our own memories and connections with Pendinas, and create a map that represents our personal history with this monument.

The first session will run from 10am – 12.30pm, and the second from 1.30pm-4pm. Tea, coffee, and biscuits will be provided. It will be a day to remember where we can create totally unique maps showcasing our favourite memories of this special Hillfort. There are 10 spaces available for each session, please book your place now as spaces are limited!

Please get in touch if you need to cancel your ticket at a later date. Tickets are limited and we will have a waiting list and can reallocate your ticket to someone else. Thank you.

We look forward to seeing you there!
