The Art of Maps – Exploring how artists have used maps or have been influenced by them when creating works of art.

Bydd cofrestru mewn person yn agor am 9.30am gyda lluniaeth ysgafn ar gael. Bydd y sgyrsiau ar-lein yn cychwyn am 10am. In-person registration will open at 9.30am with refreshments available. The online talks will begin at 10am.

Ystyried dylanwad gweledol Y Gymraeg ar waith artistiaid Cymru yn yr Ugeinfed Ganrif (a thu hwnt!) – Esyllt Angharad Lewis, Artist a Chyfieithydd | Artist and Translator. Does the language have to visualize us? Considering the visual influence of the Welsh language on the work of Welsh artists during the Twentieth Century (and afterwards!))

Bydd y ddwy sgwrs gyntaf yn cael eu cyflwyno yn Gymraeg gyda chyfieithu ar y pryd yn Saesneg. The first two talks will be delivered in Welsh with simultaneous translation in English.

Opportunity to visit Peter Lord’s ‘ Dim Celf Gymreig’ ‘No Welsh Art’ Exhibition in the Gregynog Gallery and Annexe and view the display of archive material in the Royal Commission’s Reading Room. There will also be an exhibition of National Library material in the Summers Room.
