DevOps Days Buffalo 2021
DevOps Days Buffalo is back for our third year! In year one we were in a beautiful castle, and then, in the pandemic, we shifted to online allowing us to continue bringing speakers and participants together despite all odds, and now for year three we are…
… planning a (hybrid) conference at a drive-in! This will allow us to maintain 1 ) our coolness factor but also 2 ) to accommodate various distancing needs.
What will this hybrid event look like? There is a virtual and a live component. Since the drive-in portion needs to start late in the day, so the talks show on the screen, the first part of the conference is fully virtual. After the live event starts, the conference will stream the talks both to the drive-in screen and online.
What does this mean for you?
- If you are an attendee that is planning to attend the live component at the drive-in as a driver, you will need to purchase a parking pass only. This will give you access to the streaming portion of the event as well as the ability to park the car with only the driver included in the ticket.
- If you are carpooling with someone else, you need to purchase a passenger pass only. This will give you access to the streaming portion of the event as well as the ability to attend the event as someone else's passenger. If you are a driver, please have the passengers purchase their own tickets (unless you are able to answer regarding dietary restrictions.)
- If you are not planning on attending the live event, only stream virtually, then you need the virtual pass only. Only those who intend to not attend the live event and only stream need a virtual pass. Virtual access is included with both parking and passenger passes.
