Cuidiú Dublin County North Antenatal Classes

Cuidiú Dublin County North branch is delighted to be able to offer a very interactive antenatal workshop to local parents in the Dublin North East region. This workshop is partly subsidised by the National Lottery and will be hosted by Mim Hannan Moran, Cuidiú Antenatal Ireland Teacher and Doula.

This class will help you to prepare for birth and early parenting. To optimise your learning, I keep my groups small (maximum of 8 couples), and I use adult learning techniques. I also like to tailor my classes to your needs, so all questions are welcome.

Topics / Areas covered:

Preparing your body for labour and birth. The signs of labour and how labour 'works'. When to go into hospital. Role of the partner. Managing your contractions - the medication, breathing, relaxation etc. Interventions which may take place (including caesarean section). Care of you and your baby after birth (including breastfeeding).

All attendees will receive an annual membership to Cuidiú.
