Cuidiu Dundalk Antenatal Class, January 2026

Cuidiú Dundalk branch is delighted to be able to offer an in-person, interactive one day antenatal class to local parents in the Co. Monaghan region. This workshop is partly subsidised by the National Lottery and will be hosted by Aoife Lennon, Cuidiú Antenatal Ireland Educator and IBCLC. This class will help you and your birth partner to prepare for a positive birth, boost your confidence and support you in making informed decisions for birth and early parenting. In order to optimise your learning, groups are small (maximum 8 couples/pairs) which allows our teachers to tailor the class to your individual needs. Everyone has time to get their questions answered and to practice skills needed for labour and early parenthood. Highlights of the class:

• Pain relief options
• Relaxation and breathing techniques
• Comfort measures
• Positions for labour and birth that reduce pain and risk of labour stalling
• Medical Interventions (e.g. induction, caesarean)
• Early days with your newborn/ infant care
• Postpartum care and breastfeeding basics

All attendees will receive an annual membership to Cuidiú parent support charity worth €25
