Additional Information

Robert Ballagh is one of the most prestigious artists and designers in Ireland today. Having contributed to our stamps and our bank notes (before the euro), Ballagh's work is well known to everyone over the age of ten (whether they are aware of it or not!) — Ballagh has also contributed set designs to one of Ireland's most successful exports, Riverdance, as well as many productions of works by Beckett and Wilde for theatre's such as the Abbey and the Gate.

He is an artist of strong beliefs and long experience. In conversation with Crafthouser Tady Walsh, Robert will impart some of this vast experience and knowledge to attendees at Smock Alley for this very special evening. As the evening draws to a close, attendees will have the opportunity to ask Robert questions of their own.
