Lessons in Leadership
Doors Open 7pm

A Navy SEAL turned Mentor speaks to founders and leaders within startups about getting the most from their team.
Follow your passion! Have a vision! Build it! Ship it! Custdev! Traction! Raise money!
These are the things that founders are constantly told they need to do in order to survive., never mind succeed. But what happens when you've done that? When you have users, paying customers and are adding people to your team. What happens when the biggest barrier to your success isn't your ability to do all these things, but turns out to be down to the people involved?
The vast majority of startups supports out there -- from blog posts to meetups, from conferences to accelerators -- do not focus on founders developing their leadership skills.
When you have a limited runway, can you really afford not to focus on how to get the most from your team?
Curt Cronin is a former Navy SEAL, turned leadership mentor. He and his team work with Fortune 500 companies, helping their leadership team get the most out of their people.
Hosted by Eamon Leonard, Curt's talk will focus on what happens in pressurised, stressful situations, when counting on your team mates ability to act decisively is a literally a matter of life or death, and how those experiences can be used to inform better decision making in startups.
