Intro to Git & Github Workshops
If you’ve ever wondered what Git and GitHub are and why they are so popular, then join us for this 2-day virtual workshop, where you’ll get hands-on with Git software and the Github platform!
We’ll explore:
- The Command Line Interface
- Basics of version control
- Essential git concepts, such as commits, branches, conflicts, and local vs remote
- repositories
- Core features of Github - including collaboration via Pull Requests
So - whether you are a total beginner with little/no coding experience, or an intermediate level developer looking to sharpen your skills, there’ll be something for everyone!

You must attend both workshops so only RSVP if you can attend the Monday and Tuesday evening. There are workshop prerequisites which we will email you a few days beforehand, as well as the Discord join information if you're not already in there.
