CTC19 History + Data - now fully online!
What's it about?
Aberdeen has a rich social and industrial history. How do we bring data and technology to that history to identify new opportunities to interact with it?
At this event that is exactly what we will be doing! Only now it will be fully online.
The first phase launched 27 March with some online crowd-sourced transcription on records which will feed into the hack weekend. You can get much more details on the Code The City website.

This will feed into the second part - the weekend-long online hack event.
Bring your skills, knowledge and experience to work on some fascinating challenges and opportunities posed by the local history community.
- share your ideas,
- team up with others,
- learn new techniques for getting stuff done,
- crowd-source some useful data and
- create some rapid prototypes of what a modern take on Aberdeen's history might look like.
