Clojure/north 2020
Clojure/north is Canada's Clojure conference, happening remotely online on June 25-26th 2020.
About the Conference
- Live Workshops on a variety of topics for beginners to experts! Experience multiple workshops in one event
- Exclusive Q&As with speakers. Get a chance to ask that burning question you've had
- Access to recorded talks from June 22nd, packed with a variety of content for any level of Clojure programmer. Talks will be released publicly two weeks after the conference
- Virtual networking breakout rooms. Meet and connect with members of the Clojure and functional programming community from across the globe

- Internationally renown speakers from the Clojure and FP community (check out last year's talks for examples)
Clojure/north is a non-profit conference from the Clojure community for the Clojure community with three main objectives:
- Share knowledge within the Clojure community
- Grow the Clojure community by offering accessible talks to newcomers
- Demonstrate with the broader community how Clojure is being used to solve problems

Additional Information
Opportunity Grants: Clojure/north is excited to be able to provide a number of opportunity grants to enable the attendance of those constrained by finances, as well as to encourage attendance by folks from groups that are underrepresented in software engineering. Please send an email requesting an opportunity grant ticket to us at hello@clojurenorth.com and let us know why Clojure/north would be a good opportunity for you. The opportunity grant will cover your conference ticket and two days accommodation in Toronto.
Student Tickets: If you are a student you qualify for a discounted ticket of $50 (HST included). Please email us any proof of your enrollment in a post-secondary institution at hello@clojurenorth.com. Proof can include anything such as your timetable, student ID, or letter from post-secondary institution.
There are a limited number of student tickets and opportunity grants available so please apply as early as possible in order to ensure the best chance of getting one.

Cancellation: If you wish to cancel please contact us at hello@clojurenorth.com. We will be able to fully refund cancellations up until June 20th, 2020. Any cancellations past June 20th, 2020 cannot be fielded, however, we can transfer tickets upon request.
