Additional Information

Plants and Crafts invite you to come and get your hands dirty at our Cactus Garden x Concrete Workshop. We have partnered with Child.Org to bring you this unique workshop, where you can create a mini cactus garden to take home, all perfectly presented in a handmade concrete planter.

Child.Org is an international charity based in East London using sustainable, data-led programmes to break down barriers to education for children in some of the world's poorest countries. They have initiated gardening programmes in Kenya so women can lift their families out of poverty for good, and they teach children how to build allotments at school so they can sustain themselves, alongside a variety of other projects. At our workshop you will be able to find out more about Child.Org and all profits from our ticket sales go to them to keep up their invaluable work.

At our workshop, choose your cacti from our collection and then let your inner urban gardener get crafty all while being guided through the process. Green thumbs aren't necessary as you will be talked through how to assemble your planter and care for your plants. You will be creating your gardens by learning about placement and texture, with a variety of miniature cacti. All planters, equipment and plants are provided. Your finished piece will make a wonderful gift for yourself or a loved one. Our planters are the perfect size for most windowsills, and look wonderful in any home. Vegan, desert-plant themed cakes and botanical elixirs are included in the ticket price.
