Al-Azhar and the Making of The Nobles

About the conference: The Islamic religion, based on its two original sources—the Qur'an and the Sunnah—has played a pivotal role in guiding and controlling the life of the Muslim in terms of worship, behavior, morals, and even socially, economically, and politically. This comes from the nature of this religion, which is concerned with the afterlife as it is concerned with the life of this world, and is concerned with the immediate as it is concerned with the deferred. It makes reforming the reality of life in this world a path to salvation in the afterlife. Human beings, by virtue of their humanity and nature, may deviate from the right path, so he needs someone to remind him and take him by the hand to the path of guidance and Al-Eslah. Hence comes the importance of Al-Eslah and the great role of the Nobles. God Almighty has provided Al-Azhar Al-Sharif—throughout the ages and the passage of time—with its men and The Nobles of Al-Azhar Professors, Scholars, and Alumni, who repel from this religion the distortion of extremists, the fabrication of falsehoods, the interpretation of the ignorant, and the falsification of falsifiers. Al-Azhar Al-Sharif has undertaken this mission and carried it out in the best possible way. Since its inception, it has not ceased to play a pioneering reformist role, not only in our beloved Egypt alone, but also in the East and West of the earth. It has produced for us the Nobles Professors and Scholars in various fields and arenas. Each one of them has been—and still is—raising the verse of Quraan: Based on this pioneering role of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, and the role of its venerable professors and sheikhs in all parts of the world, this conference was held to highlight the effective role of Al-Azhar and The Nobles of Al-Azhar Professors, scholars and Alumni in Egypt and abroad, under the title: "Al-Azhar and the Making of The Nobles."
