  • Please join us at Rapha New York on Thursday, July 11th at 7:00 pm to hear from Evan Friss, author of On Bicycles: A 200-Year History of Cycling in New York City. He will discuss the colorful and fraught history of cycling in the Big Apple, highlighting the debates around the bicycle’s place in the city, the changing conceptions of who cyclists are, and how the city as we know it today—veined with over a thousand miles of bicycle lanes—reflects a fitful journey powered, and opposed, by New York City’s people and its politics. This will be followed by a ride on Saturday, July 13th at 10 am, lead by Evan to have a private viewing at The Museum of New York City and their exhibit Cycling in the City: A 200-year History.
