Sophie and her mummy are sitting down to tea when the doorbell rings. Their unexpected guest is a large and very hungry tiger, who soon begins eating and drinking his way through almost everything in the house.
Robin Shaw’s hand-drawn adaptation of Judith Kerr’s much-loved picture book is a warm, playful family film, with David Oyelowo as the Tiger and a voice cast including Tamsin Greig, Benedict Cumberbatch and David Walliams.
This free family event is part of Cambridge Film Festival’s 45th anniversary programme, and a little taste of the Cambridge Family Film Festival ahead of October.
There are two one-hour sessions: 12.30 pm - 1.30 pm & 2 pm - 3 pm
Each session begins with 30 minutes of arts and crafts, followed by a screening of The Tiger Who Came to Tea.
Tickets are free, but places are limited. Please book the session you would like to attend in advance.
