CFF Youth Lab Presents: The Fisherman
Join Cambridge Film Festival Youth Lab for an evening of cinematic magic.
The Cambridge Film Festival is delighted to present a screening of The Fisherman, the feature film debut from director Zoey Martinson. Winner of the Youth Lab Jury Award and an audience favourite at the 44th Cambridge Film Festival, The Fisherman is a comedy which overflows with laughter, warmth and the rich culture of Ghana. It is a heartwarming tale of family, resilience and the enduring spirit of a true fisherman.
The screening will be led by the Youth Lab (the Festival’s initiative for young people aged 16 to 24) and is free of charge.

About the CFF Youth Lab:
The Youth Lab is one of the Cambridge Film Festival's proudest achievements over recent years and is a key focus as we move into the next 40 years of CFF.
The Youth Lab is an exciting film education initiative focusing on young people’s film evaluation and criticism skills and encouraging communication and network building. It is open to those aged 16-24, specifically addressing participation from underrepresented communities and those at risk of social exclusion.
Participants have opportunities to learn about careers in the film industry, conduct interviews, develop critical and public speaking skills, or work on film production and exhibition.
