What is Social Value?
Social Value is about maximising the social, economic and environmental benefits through the public procurement process. Ultimately, this allows Government Departments and their stakeholders to find new and far-reaching methods to deliver on the outcomes of the Programme for Government.
All tenders on Public Procurement contracts must allocate a minimum of 10% of the total award criteria to social value.

This first webinar in the series aims to help Northern Ireland businesses gain a deeper understanding of Social Value, as well as the essential elements they must demonstrate and deliver to secure government contracts. We’ll explain what Social Value is, why it is important and how BITCNI can help. We’ll provide best practice examples and signpost on how BITC can help you to deliver your Social Value commitments.

This second in a series of three Social Value webinars, we will explain what resources are available - from the Strategic Investment Board and Belfast City Council - to help your organisation to write bids.
Attendees will hear from a company currently delivering a contract with Social Value commitments and will learn about how partnering with BITCNI can empower them to deliver their own organisation’s commitments.
